Extension to the rear of our house
We invited Guy to discuss our need for help with a new extension project.
At his first site meeting with us he immediately identified our layout problems; he was very positive and bounced ideas off us straightaway with various sketches etc. Based on Guy’s impressive interpretation of what we needed, and of what we didn't know we needed, we appointed him to provide architectural design proposals, layouts and construction drawings, plus handling full planning application processes and approval.
Through his creative thinking and excellent architectural/interior design skills we have remodelled our home to include a new living room extension, kitchen/dining room, study and utility that is modern, inviting and way beyond what we thought we could achieve with our budget. We highly recommend HA Architecture for its modern, innovative approach and amazing service.

Single-storey Rear Extension

Internal Alterations
Guy helped us enormously, discussing our requirements and producing two designs for us to consider. Having decided which design to follow, he provided very detailed comprehensive plans. Through these plans he enabled the building regulations application process to run very smoothly which was approved without any changes. The professional guidance and patient support he provided during the process was much appreciated and helped us to understand the technical aspects of our project. We’re glad we engaged Guy to deal with the design of the work as the drawings gave us a clear picture of all the aspects involved in the project and will no doubt be of great assistance to the builder.

Dropped Kerb Application
Brilliant service from the team at House Alterations Architecture. We recently applied for a dropped kerb to our property and needed our drawings professionally designed. House Alterations handled the whole process and submitted the application on our behalf. All completed very quickly and at a great price. I would highly recommend and will be using again when we add an extension to our property.

Side annex and new outhouse
We interviewed 5 architects before finally appointing Guy. We liked his no-nonsense approach to the works we wanted to out, when the previous 4 were very 'on the fence' and talked in a language we couldn’t understand. Guy designed us a modern extension, detached garage and family annex in the grounds of our property that looked great on plan and his builders drawings were immaculate and I believe our builder will recommend him too.

Not being a specialist in Architects I think the best recommendation I can state is that the various builders I approached to quote for the work, based on Guy’s plans, all commented (without being prompted) that the plans were very well drawn up and that they commended me for having such a good Architect! One have asked for his details, as he would like to recommend him to future clients.
